Hudson High School Excellence!

The Washington Post just released their list of America's Most Challenging High Schools and Hudson is ranked 853 out of 2302 schools.  (Last year we ranked 1399 out of 2327 schools).  

The process used by the Washington Post creates an index score. The index score is the number of college-level tests given at a school divided by the number of graduates.  They also note the percentage of students that qualify for lunch subsidies and the percentage of graduates who passed at least one college-level test during their high school career (E&E).

Seniors - Graduation is May 28th (Memorial Weekend)!  Please complete the attached Hudson Star Observer Form and turn it in to your Advisor, or the Principal's office.  Additional copies will be given to you during Advisory.    Also, please check in the Principal's office to see if your cap and gown are ordered, and to see if you have signed up and paid for the Senior All Night Party (t-shirts have to be ordered this week, so they need to know who is attending, ASAP) .  There are still some who have not ordered a cap and gown. These need to be ordered ASAP in order to be here by graduation.

NEED A TRANSCRIPT?  Please send ALL transcript requests to which includes your name at the time of graduation, year of graduation and where (Name and address) of where they should be sent.  Current students should request their transcript via their naviance account.

If you will be locating to Hudson over the summer and have a high school students, please complete the attached paperwork and return the completed forms as soon as possible.

Important Information

Monday, May 16, is  Yearbook Distribution Day! To be guaranteed a book, yearbooks can be ordered online with a credit card for $48 at through May 6. Be sure to order your yearbook for Hudson, WISCONSIN! After May 6, yearbooks can be purchased for $55 by check or cash. Please make checks payable to Hudson High School and send to Debbie Lee, Yearbook Adviser. Books for $55 will be available until supply lasts.

Outdoor Leaders Club:
Do you care about the health of our planet?  Want to make a difference in our school and community?  Come join the Outdoor Leaders club.  We meet before school every Friday morning, 6:50 a.m., in Ms. Mueller's room, 518.  This is a student led, outdoors focused group, that does meaningful projects.  All are welcome.  We hope to see you there!

NOTE:  All physical dates are available in Family Access.

Hudson High School S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will meet every Thursday morning from 7:15 to 8:15 on the West Stage.  New members are always welcome!
