Guidance Office

Attention Seniors
Applications are being taken for Camp Enterprise.  This is an exciting opportunity to study the free enterprise system with seniors from sixty area schools.  Camp Enterprise will be held November 6-8 and is sponsored by our local Rotary clubs.  For more information you can visit the website at www.campenterprise.org.

To apply see Deb Johnson in the counseling office.  The deadline for applications is Wednesday, October 29.


The Kohl Excellence Scholarship application form is available online at www.kohleducation.org

The purpose of the Kohl Excellence scholarship is to recognize student leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement.  Find more information on their website or see Patti Donahue in the Career Office 8th hour. The Foundation awards $1,000 scholarships to 100 Wisconsin high school graduates each year.  If you decide to apply, download your completed application and turn it in to Ms. Deb Johnson in the counseling office by November 6th.  The application deadline is November 6th.

Food Drive ends on November 7! All donated food goes to the Hudson Area Christian Food Cupboard. Please bring food into your advisory! Non-Perishable Items commonly needed at the food shelf include: Cake mixes/frosting, ketchup/mustard, pancake mixes/syrup​, canned beans, fruit, vegetables, canned tuna/meat, boxed potatoes, boxed dinners, peanut butter, jam/jelly, flour/sugar, salad dressing/mayo, vegetable oil, pasta, pasta sauce, stuffing/gravy, toothpaste/bar soap, facial tissue, shampoo, conditioner, soup/ramen, pudding/gelatin, crackers, juice, kool aid.

Clubs and Activities


LAST CHANCE.  Any student interested in going to Italy June 2015 needs to be signed up by Friday October 31st.  Any questions come see Mr. Chaffee in room 123.

The 2015 yearbooks will be on sale October 20 - 24 during all lunches for $40. Make your check payable to Hudson High School.

Forms and information regarding yearbook purchases and senior portraits can be found on the HHS home page under Student and Parent Resources
October 16. Senior portraits due for yearbook.
December 1. Last day for yearbook orders for $40.
December 2. Yearbooks available for $48.
January 7. Senior, buddy, and business advertisements due for the yearbook.


Environmental Club:
Do you care about the health of our planet?  Want to make a difference in our school and community?  Come join the sustainability club.  We meet before school every Friday morning, 6:50 a.m., in Ms. Mueller's room, 518.  This is a student led, outdoors focused group, that does meaningful projects.  All are welcome.  We hope to see you there!

Dear Parents:  All student medications,  with the exception of inhalers and epi-pens, must be picked up by a parent or guardian prior to the end of the school year.  This includes over-the-counter medication as well as prescriptions.  Per our medication policy, we are not able to store medication over the summer.  Please contact the health office at 715-377-3805
